REAL AD söker intresserade deltagare för att delta i den rådgivande kommittén för ett europeiskt Alzheimer-projekt (kunskaper i engelska krävs)

AD-RIDDLE is a large European-funded project which aims to develop an online platform to improve the detection, assessment and prevention of cognitive decline and dementia. The project is led by Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) and Gates Ventures (US). The REAL AD study is part of AD-RIDDLE. We are currently setting up an Advisory Board (AB) for the project.

The AB will be composed of lay members of the public and will include older adults with and without cognitive problems interested in brain health and dementia risk reduction (e.g. people with no cognitive problems, people with Subjective Cognitive Decline or Mild Cognitive Impairment). Members of the AB will meet online regularly to discuss topics and issues relevant to the project. Members are required to be able to express themselves in English and should be willing to share their personal views, concerns and experiences. No technical or previous specific knowledge is required. The meetings will last around 2 hours and will take the form of an informal group discussion between the members of the AB and some of the researchers of the project. Members will receive information about the topic and the questions for the meeting a week prior to the meeting. Membership to the AB will be renewed on annual basis and members are expected to attend at least 3-4 meetings per year.
